Poetry of a Kind
GondolatokMore or Less
More or Less
Sometimes less is more, you know.
Is it there a way to know,
what is the best way to go?
Or is it more or less the same?
It it just another way ...
… another way to say you no ...
All is Yours
All is Yours
do not ask for life nor death
live and learn to be yourself
teach others to help the rest
how to help and pass the test
do not long for others’ gains
those may only serve their ways
act and don’t ask for return
fortune pays when the dice turns
do not wait for any deed
earn just what you really need
what was once yours think again
if your fate was to regain
when the time comes just release
it simply might not meant to be yours …
ever once again
The Fisherman's Web
A poem for my friend Yahya A Gimba inspired by the proverb:
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"
- Anne Isabella Thackeray Ritchie
The Fisherman's Web
Googling Google
Searching on Bing
I found something
Phone is ringing
Problems are banned
Thanks dear money
I have my job
Where's my honey
I see two hands
And golden rings
Gifts my future
Offers to me
On my own wedding...

Cheers up, Yahya A Gimba!
Need
Need
It’s not pleasing to feed,
where grass is sparse.
You’re seeking in vain,
bare soil is not green,
don’t be mistaken,
dry straws cannot fill
your pillow good to feel!
Far away you find a stream
and a sweet, soft bed to lie in!
Try
Try
The first slash of the wings
doesn’t take high a hatchling.
Never look below,
find ahead what’s waiting!
